What if a single paddle could change a child’s life?

That’s the spirit behind Campfire Circle’s Paddle Project, where more than 100 Canadian artists, athletes, and creators transform canoe paddles into stunning works of art – all to help kids with cancer or serious illness rediscover the joy of being kids.

Presented by BMO, this one-of-a-kind online auction runs until November 7, giving you the chance to bid on a paddle that inspires you – while directly supporting Campfire Circle’s year-round programs at paediatric hospitals, in communities across Ontario, and at two medically supported overnight camps.

Each paddle tells a story of creativity and connection. This year’s collection features contributions from icons like the late Gordon Lightfoot, Mike Myers, Max Domi, Kevin Drew of Broken Social Scene, and beloved Canadian sports teams including the Toronto Maple Leafs, Toronto Raptors, Toronto Argonauts, and Toronto FC.

They’re joined by an extraordinary roster of creators – Sarah McLachlan, Jann Arden, Seth Rogen & Evan Goldberg, Jay Baruchel, Caitlin Cronenberg, Ali Budd, the Beckerman Twins, Patrick Hunter, Charles Pachter, and more – each lending their talent to help us reach thousands of kids facing cancer or serious illness.

We’re so grateful to the artists, athletes, and community partners who make the Paddle Project possible,” says Alex Robertson, CEO of Campfire Circle. “Their generosity helps us bring joy, friendship, and healing to kids and families when they need it most.”

These one-of-a-kind paddles also take the spotlight at Campfire Circle’s Bonfire Bash, presented by GFL Environmental Inc., on November 5, before the final bids close.

Whether displayed in your home, cottage, or office, each paddle represents hope, resilience, and community.
