Mikaela Masnyk Desloges Launspach was a 29 year old, 3rd grade teacher in Ottawa, ON when on November 1, 2019 she passed away from injuries sustained in a car accident. On November 3, 2019, her organs were donated to 6 people. She was a registered organ donor and let us know of her wishes to donate her organs and we were proud to honour those wishes.

Starting in 1994, with the generous support of donors, players, and volunteers, The McConnell Class has raised nearly $1.5 million over 30 years for Campfire Circle! From the very beginning, the tournament's goal has been to send kids with cancer to experience the magic of camp. Since its inception, the McConnell Classic has provided over 520 weeks of overnight, in-hospital, and community based camp experiences!
