Meet “the Pham-ily”

“April devoured her delicious ‘no more treatment’ cake at camp!”
Our baby April was diagnosed with infant leukemia at seven months old. April loved when Ken would come to sing her songs—he completely won her little heart. We got a spot last minute at family camp, and we all had so much fun. April got to celebrate her end of treatment at camp! She loved her ’no more treatment’ cake when everyone sang to her—it was so special. And the cake was delicious, too.
Every time there is a new Campfire Circle program, we are the first to sign up! We love the community events, day camp, family camp—and we are crossing our fingers and toes that Kalib will get to go to sibling camp. We love everything about camp—meeting other families, the amazing counsellors, and volunteers. And we get some breathing time! Campfire Circle makes a hard time a little more bearable. Thank you for creating such a special place for kids and families.
