Campfire Circle Welcomes Andrew Guizzetti to Board of Directors

Campfire Circle is honoured to welcome Andrew Guizzetti to our Board of Directors. A community builder and philanthropist, Andrew is a co-founding member of Empire Communities. Founded in 1993, Empire Communities has grown to be one of North America’s largest homebuilders of homes and condominiums and has been the recipient of over 100 domestic and international awards for design, marketing, sales excellence and commitment to creating energy efficient homes. As the EVP and CFO, Andrew is responsible for Empire’s overall financial and strategic management and long-range business planning.
He served on the Board of Northmount School, is a past Building Committee Member for the Bishop Strachan School and is a past Board Member of St. Andrew’s College. He is a member of the Building Industry and Land Development Association (BILD), a Blue Ribbon Committee member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI), Toronto Chapter and National Association of Homebuilders of America (NAHB).
Andrew first became involved with Campfire Circle as a co-chair, along with his wife Marianne, for our Imagine The Magic Gala in 2020. When the pandemic hit, Andrew recommended that the event be held virtually to ensure that the organization was able to raise the needed funds. The Camp Ooch & Camp Trillium Paddle Project in 2020 was a highly successful initiative that raised awareness and funds for kids and families impacted by childhood cancer. Thanks to their leadership, the event raised over $1 million.
