Road Trippin’ From Ottawa

We’ve been connected to Campfire Circle since our first day with Genny at the hospital in Ottawa. Our family’s nurse told us about Campfire Circle and said we had to go to camp. And every single person we’ve met—volunteers, staff, other families—they just totally match our values. I admit to being kind of an overprotective dad sometimes—our three daughters and our son would be the first to tell anyone that. But we trust camp, completely. You can just tell that the counsellors are devoted to our kids and to making their experiences full of fun and adventure.

The kids have been talking about camp and asking when we’re going back since we were in the car ride home last summer. Everyone had a riot. And I work in construction, so I couldn’t help but check out the handy work, and its top notch. I don’t know what we would have done without camp. It would have been almost impossible for us to afford a family holiday, so we are very, very grateful to the people out there who support camp and make sure it’s free for families like mine. At the end of the day, I can tell you, from my own experience, that your donations are helping families like mine.
